Your PGicover account is accessible at app.pgicover.com. This page covers the sign-in methods available, what to do when a code does not arrive, and how to reach a person if you cannot get in.
How signing in works
PGicover uses a code-based sign-in system. Depending on how you created your account, you may sign in using one of the following methods.
Phone number (SMS code): Enter your mobile number and you will receive a 6-digit verification code by text message. Enter the code to complete sign-in. The code is single-use.
Email address (email code): Enter your email address and a 6-digit code will be sent to your inbox. Enter the code to complete sign-in. The code expires in 10 minutes.
Email address and password: If you registered with an email and password, enter both to sign in. Your email must be verified before this method works.
Google account: If you signed in with Google when you created your account, use the Continue with Google option on the sign-in screen. Your Google email address must match the one on your PGicover account.
Your code did not arrive
For SMS codes:
- Confirm the mobile number you entered is the one registered to your account. The number is shown in masked form on screen after you submit it.
- Check that your phone is not in Do Not Disturb mode or blocking unknown senders.
- Codes can take up to 60 seconds to arrive. Wait before requesting another.
- The system limits how often codes can be sent to the same number. If you have requested several in a short period, wait a few minutes before trying again.
For email codes:
- Check your spam or junk folder. The message comes from a pgicover.com address.
- The code expires in 10 minutes. If it arrived late or you did not use it in time, request a new one.
- Check that you are entering the correct email address for your account.
Your code is being rejected
- Confirm you are entering the code exactly as it appeared. Codes are 6 digits with no spaces or letters.
- Do not copy and paste if your messaging app or email client added extra characters or spaces.
- If the code has expired, request a fresh one. Expired codes are not valid.
- After a number of incorrect attempts, the code becomes invalid and you will need to request a new one.
You cannot remember which sign-in method you used
If you are unsure whether you registered with a phone number, an email address, or Google, try each method in turn using the same contact details. The system will recognise your account if the details match.
Your account is locked or access is denied
If you see a message that your account is disabled or that too many attempts have been made, wait a short period before trying again. Rate limits reset within the hour.
If your email address shows as not verified, you will not be able to sign in using email and password until you complete email verification. Look for a verification email from a pgicover.com address and enter the code it contains.
