This page covers how to view and update your profile information and how to manage your notification preferences. It does not cover policy status, documents, or billing.
Viewing your profile
Sign in to the PGicover app and open the Account section. Your current name, email address, and phone number are shown there.
Updating your name or phone number
- Open the Account section.
- Select the profile editing area.
- Update your name or phone number.
- Save your changes.
Changes sync to the server. If you close the app before saving, your changes will not be kept.
Email address
How your email address is managed depends on how you signed up.
If you signed up with an email and password
Your email address can be updated in the profile section.
If you signed up with Google
Your email address is managed by your Google account. It cannot be changed within the PGicover app. To update it, change your Google account email and then sign back in.
Notification preferences
You can control which types of notifications you receive. In the Account section, look for the notifications area. From there you can turn email notifications or SMS notifications on or off independently.
The app requires at least one notification channel to remain active at all times. If you try to turn off both email and SMS, the app will prompt you to keep one enabled.
Note: notification preferences set in the app are stored on your device. If you sign in on a different device, you may need to set them again there.
Electronic notice consent
During the application or activation process, you may be offered the option to receive official notices by electronic means rather than by post. This is a separate opt-in that applies to formal insurance correspondence. It is not required to use the app.
If you granted this consent and wish to revoke it, contact us and we will update your record.
Signing out
To sign out, open the Account section and use the sign-out option at the bottom of the menu. Signing out ends your session on that device. Your account and all associated data remain intact.
Deleting your account
Account deletion is handled by contacting support. For information on what that involves, see the account deletion page in this tech support section, or contact us directly.
